If you're looking for an easy ride that showcases Geelong's natural side, start with the Barwon River Trail accessible right behind Geelong Holiday Park, this trail is essentially a 20km loop of of sealed paths following the Barwon River.
One of the biggest advantages of staying at Geelong Holiday Park is how easy it is to access this popular trail. Following the river through some of Geelong's most scenic green spaces, it's a ride that can be as short or as long as you like.
Along the way you'll pass places such as Balyang Sanctuary, Barwon Valley Park, Belmont Common and Buckley Falls. Expect riverside views, birdlife, open parklands and plenty of places to stop for a picnic or coffee.

The Bellarine Rail Trail is one of the region's most popular cycling routes and a fantastic way to experience more of the Bellarine Peninsula.
Following the historic railway corridor between South Geelong and Queenscliff, the trail passes through changing landscapes, open countryside and charming regional communities.
You don't need to tackle the entire trail to enjoy it. Even a shorter section offers a great opportunity to see a different side of the region.
