We are pet friendly at Batemans Bay, and we welcome your furry friends in our designated pet-friendly Castaway Villas. Please note our Pet Policy below:

1. Booking Procedures

1. • To book dog-friendly accommodation, please contact our reservations team directly at (02) 4472 4392. Dogs must be registered with your booking.
   • Dogs are welcome by application at the time of booking, subject to the manager’s discretion.
   • Only one pet per booking is allowed. Prior arrangements and manager approval are required for additional pets.
   • Blackout periods may apply during busy times.
   • Upon arrival, you will need to sign an agreement outlining the rules for your stay. Dog acceptance is at the manager’s discretion.

2. Leashing Requirements

1. • Dogs must be leashed at all times when outside your designated pet-friendly cabin. Leashes should not exceed 2 meters in length. The only exception is if your accommodation has a secure, enclosed area for your pet. This rule will be strictly enforced.
   • Dogs may be walked in the park but must remain leashed at all times. It is recommended to walk them on grassed areas off the roadways.

3. Restricted Areas

1. • Pets are allowed only in designated pet-friendly cabins. They are not permitted in any other park accommodation.
   • For health and safety reasons, dogs are not allowed in any common areas, including pools, games rooms, amenities, playgrounds, reception, or any public areas.
   • For health and safety reasons, please refrain from washing pet accessories like blankets using the park’s laundry facilities.

4. Owner Responsibilities

1. • Pets must have valid vaccination certificates, be council registered, and be free from fleas.
   • Pets must never be left unattended, including inside pet-friendly cabins. Always take your pet with you when you leave the park.
   • Dog owners must immediately pick up and dispose of their pet’s waste.
   • Please ensure your pet does not urinate or defecate on any other guest’s property.
   • Dog owners are fully responsible for any personal injuries or property damage caused by their dog while at the park.
   • The park owner/manager reserves the right to evict any guest whose dog is noisy, disruptive, aggressive, or the subject of complaints. The owner must control and manage their dog, and failure to do so may result in immediate eviction without prior warning.

Our resort does provide amenities for people with disability. A select number of villas also have ramps installed for easy access, however the villas themselves are not specially disabled facilitated.

Yes, there is onsite parking available, free parking is limited to one car per boom gate access.  Additional onsite parking is available for $10 per car/boat per visit.  Additional cars/boats can be parked at the overflow parking area at no charge.
